Advisory Group
Within our Advisory group you’ll find several teams. Each specialises in the work of a specific client department. We are there to provide legal advice on anything from drafting legislation and taking it through Parliament, to advising ministers and their departments on the implications of new or existing policy. Our advice is designed to be risk-based and focused on solutions. We partner government across the full spectrum of its functions, trusted to ensure everything stands up to the scrutiny of Parliament and the courts. As a result, our work touches a huge range of nationally important subjects.
Joining one of our teams, you could advise the government on a range of issues, from national security to cyberbullying, artificial intelligence to climate change. You could be involved in policy design, regulatory decision-making and international negotiations, defending the government’s position in court and explaining at public enquiries why decisions were taken. It’s rich, varied work you won’t find anywhere else.
